Job Description
Job Title: Cashier

Job Description:
We are looking for a reliable and friendly Cashier to join our team at our restaurant in Salem. The ideal candidate will handle customer transactions provide excellent service and maintain accurate cash handling.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet customers and process their orders.
Handle cash credit and debit transactions using the restaurants POS system.
Provide receipts refunds and exchanges as necessary.
Maintain a clean and organized cashier station.
Answer customer inquiries regarding menu items and promotions.
Assist with minor tasks during nonpeak hours (e.g. helping in food service or cleaning).
Ensure all transactions are accurate and the cash register is balanced at the end of shifts.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Basic math and cash handling skills.
Previous experience as a cashier (preferred but not mandatory).
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work in a fastpaced environment.
Attention to detail and honesty.
