Overview
The Manager of Procurement plays a crucial role in the organizations operations by overseeing the procurement process and ensuring the effective sourcing of goods and services to meet the companys needs. This role is essential in maintaining costefficiency quality and supply continuity.
Key Responsibilities
- Procurement of best quality materials economically within stipulated delivery period.
- Responsible for the procurement of Solar Equipment such as Electronic electrical EPC services I& C Solar Modules Street Light Solar Water Pump module mounting Structure etc.
- Prepare the schedule for project and planning the materials procurement as per delivery / completion of project.
- Preparing of costing sheet for tenders as well as after receiving of customer order for evaluations of expenses and profitability of the project.
- Working towards vendor identification vendor evaluation visiting & monitoring supplier progress.
- Developing sufficient number of reliable and reputed source of supply for different items required.
- Budgeting funds for procurement and sourcing of materials ensuring optimum utilization of materials and maximum cost saving.
- Responsible for all Techno & dash Commercial discussion & negotiations and issuance of Purchase Order with Vendor / Suppliers.
- Cost reduction by introducing alternate vendor / supplier maintaining the quality aspects.
- On Project AwardResource Management
- Coordinate with Design & Engineering for Document/ Drawing submission and Approval.
- Vendor Management and relationship by supplied quality assurance for new development.
- Arrange the product/items with Quality cost and timely delivery.
- Coordination and actively engaged with project site team for Installation & commissioning quality assurance of GRN & confirmation of quality of received materials and stock updating.
- Prepare the delivery Schedule for all projects for timely delivery.
- Actively prepare the cash flow by directed all plant or sites procurement function.
- Evaluation and Costing for the bidding the various solar projects.
- Actively participate in Project Planning and control.
- Commercial Negotiation with vendors and suppliers for cost saving best quality and timely delivery of the goods.
Qualifications / Experience
- Minimum Bachelors in Engineering
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience restricted to solar or electrical infrastructure.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
