Job Description
Product Development Engineer
Experience: 5 14 Years
MustHave:
B.tech with 5 7 years minimum Experience
M.Tech with 3 7 years minimum experience
Tier 1 college only
Experience in projects related to new product introduction such as characterization alpha testing beta testing and pilot tools in the ramp phase as required.
Experience in supporting the development and implementation of product improvements for existing and prerelease products to provide maximum value to the customer
Key Responsibilities:
Be part of a remote systems engineers team with longterm travel to customer sites for support and engagement
Team will support the development and implementation of product improvements for existing and prerelease products to provide maximum value to the customer
Perform product diagnosis and problem resolution on highlevel escalations and interface with applications software and other engineering to verify the hardware & software problems have been resolved
Support projects to standardize findings from highlevel field escalations to prevent repeat occurrences
Work with customers to better understand use cases and work with the development team in HQ to shape product improvements
Focus on projects related to new product introduction such as characterization alpha testing beta testing and pilot tools in the ramp phase as required
Generate bestknown method documents and design notes and work with the product support team to transfer product knowledge to tech support and field service teams
Generate escalations and standardization reports for internal and customer review
Education & Experience:
Bachelor s in Engineering (Preferably in the field of Physics Electrical Mechanical or Material Science)
Minimum of 5 years of related experience
Preferred (not mandatory) work experience in the semiconductor processing or equipment industry.
Must have excellent communication organizational analytical leadership and interpersonal skills.
Must be selfdriven and a strong team player.
Good handson ability with demonstrated success on hardwarerelated projects
Up to 80% of worldwide traveling would be required.
