We are an audiobook platform who created audiobooks stories and courses in more than 7 Indian languages for the users of Bharat. Founded in 2018 by former IITians and Toppr executives Lal Chand Bisu Vinod Meena and Vikas Goyal. It is a curated platform where users most of whom hail from Tier II and III cities create audio content in Hindi English Marathi Tamil and Telugu among other regional languages.
Kuku FM hosts 150000 hours of content across audiobooks stories book summaries courses and podcasts on its platform covering a wide range of genres from fiction and nonfiction audiobooks selfhelp education titles entertainment news mythology spirituality learning and inspirations stories poems and even jingles.
Mandatory Language: Fluency in Telugu is must
Job Description:
We are seeking a Creative Producer with a passion for creating long form high engagement audio contents to join our Telugu Content team. As Creative Producer you will be responsible for conceptualising long form audio stories that have an endless nature of consumption ensuring the accuracy quality and cultural appropriateness of all contents picked in production. Your role will involve working with content creators writers/authors voice artists and translators managing content delivery timelines and collaborating with crossfunctional teams to design package and launch contents that captivates the interests of our listeners. You will play a crucial role in shaping the narrative and engaging our Teluguspeaking audience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Produce Contents: Ideate create conceptualise and oversee the production of fiction content spanning various genres ensuring it can generate endless content consumption behaviour for mass audiences. Keep constantly developing a pool of ideas /content which can be made into compelling long form audio series in the Fiction genre.
- Character Development: Develop and oversee the creation of compelling heroes subheroes and bytes across a wide range of genres and topics.
- Content Curation: Source and curate highquality content from talented Telugu writers nurturing relationships to ensure a steady stream of engaging content.
- Data Understanding: Basic understanding of analytical data to make informed content decisions and enhance the impact of our creative productions.
- Trend Awareness: Stay updated with the everevolving trends and preferences of the Telugu audience to create content that remains relevant and appealing.
- Writing Skills: Exhibit proficiency in the Telugu language with a strong background in literature and screenwriting. Be able to contribute creatively to the content production process.
- Content Creation and Editing: Utilize your experience to create edit and refine content to maintain high production quality standards.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 35 years Work experience as Writer /Creative producer/Director similar roles where you had to develop fiction content and work with Fiction content preferably audio or video.
- Proven experience in content creation and editing with a strong portfolio of successful fiction projects.
- Prior experience in creating long form fiction content is a strong plus.
- Proficiency in the Telugu language popular culture in Telugu with exceptional writing skills in both literature and screenwriting. A deep passion for storytelling and a keen eye for detail. Basic understanding of data analytics content performance metrics and audience insights.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with writers and content creators.
- Uptodate knowledge of the Telugu entertainment industry and audience preferences.
