Candidate has to have expereince in furniture designing.
Job Objective:
We are seeking a creative and detailoriented Design Technician to join our team. This role is essential in translating
customer needs into functional aesthetically pleasing designs.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Interact with customers in a friendly manner to understand their design preferences requirements and budget
constraints.
Use computeraided design (PYTHA) software to create detailed and customised modular furniture designs.
Incorporate design elements that align with the customers vision and functional needs.
Stay informed about the latest trends materials and products in the modular furniture industry
Provide expert advice on product selection based on design specifications.
Create visual presentations and 3D renderings to help customers visualize the proposed furniture designs.
Effectively communicate design concepts and modifications to customers
Coordinate with the sales team to understand customer requirements and contribute to the sales process
Collaborate with internal teams including installation and project management to ensure design feasibility
Prepare detailed design documentation including floor plans elevations and material specifications
Maintain accurate and organized records of design projects
Engage with customers throughout the design process addressing questions concerns and modification requests
Ensure a positive customer experience by providing exceptional design services

Skills & Competencies
Proficiency in CAD software (e.g. AutoCAD SketchUp Pytha) for creating detailed designs.
Strong knowledge of materials finishes and fixtures used in modular furniture.
Detailoriented with a strong sense of aesthetics and functionality
Excellent interpersonal skills
Wellversed with Excel word PowerPoint and the internet
Qualification
Diploma or degree in Interior Design Architecture or a related field
Proven experience in interior designing
