Job Description
The SAP Analytics Cloud Architect plays a crucial role in designing implementing and maintaining the SAP Analytics Cloud platform within the organization. This role is essential in leveraging data to provide actionable insights and support strategic decisionmaking. The SAP Analytics Cloud Architect collaborates with crossfunctional teams to ensure that the platform meets the organizations business needs and aligns with best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Designing and implementing SAP Analytics Cloud solutions to meet business requirements
- Developing data models and creating data visualizations to support analytics applications
- Collaborating with business stakeholders to understand their analytical needs and translating them into technical solutions
- Integrating SAP Analytics Cloud with other systems and applications
- Providing technical leadership and guidance in the implementation of SAP Analytics Cloud projects
- Ensuring the security and scalability of the SAP Analytics Cloud platform
- Performing troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to SAP Analytics Cloud
- Conducting performance tuning and optimization activities
- Staying updated with the latest SAP Analytics Cloud features and functionalities
- Documenting architecture and technical design
Must have skills/experience
- Overall 10 years of experience in designing and building Financial Planning & Budgeting solutions
- 4 years of Hands on Devt experience in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Planning
- Experience in designing and implementing SAC Planning solutions across multiple full implementation lifecycles
- Strong understanding of business model strategy and business process design principles with the ability to align technical solutions with overarching business objectives.
- Experience on both SAP S/4 HANA and NonSAP Data source for consuming data in SAC using both Live and Import Data connections.
- Knowledge of group reporting Central finance and their use in SAC planning is required.
- Experience in SAC Data Actions Advanced calculations & Value Driver Tree etc.
- Experience on Admin (Security / Access) part of SAC
- Experience with Analytical Application/advanced stories creation and scripting using Java Script
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Collaborate with functional teams to translate user stories and problem statements into project/solution requirements.
- Partner with functional and product teams to facilitate the deployment and adoption of delivered solutions.
- Collaborate with extended Data and Analytics teams to design data pipelines to and from SAC.
- Develop solutions quickly through an Agile process utilizing incremental minimal viable products to obtain user feedback and iterate towards a final solution.
- Provide recommendations develop customized solutions as needed and manage followup & evaluation for all SAP planning requirements.
- Developing new Planning scenarios interfaces cubes & other reporting structures as and when identified by business needs/projects.
- Assist with identified stabilization & simplification initiatives to improve overall SAP Analytics planning solution processes & performance.
- Taking ownership and ensuring high quality results
Desirable skills
- Experience with United Nations / Large NonGovernmental Organizations
- Experience in requirements gathering business process analysis and blueprint design
- Familiarity with SAP HANA SAP BW or other enterprise data warehouse tools
- Experience in Designing SAP HANA Views and consume them in SAP Analytics on Cloud.
- Knowledge of investigating data flows to and from SAC with SAP BW SAP BPC systems SAP S/4 and other non SAP sources
- Proven ability to analyze source systems and investigate data extracts for both SAP and nonSAP sources.
- Strong understanding of financial analytics and experience in delivering finance and HCM analytics
- Strong understanding of data modeling and data visualization concepts
- Experience with big data technologies and cloud computing platforms
- Indepth knowledge of SAP Analytics Cloud architecture and features
- Ability to collaborate with crossfunctional teams and communicate technical concepts to nontechnical stakeholders
- Certification in SAP Analytics Cloud is a plus
- Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills
- Strong understanding of security and performance best practices in SAP Analytics Cloud
- Knowledge of SQL and data manipulation languages
