Job Description
- Experience in design of underground construction including support of excavation
- Ability to utilize standard Rock Engineering principles, techniques and analyses to complete conventional, moderately complex assignments within the geotechnical discipline.
- Bachelors degree in civil / Geological / Geotechnical Engineering and 5+ years of related work experience.
- Intimate knowledge of the following software: gINT , RSData , Dips Unwedge , SWedge , RocFall2 and RocFall3.
- Intimate knowledge of following design codes Eurocode , British Standards , LRFD Bridge Design Specifications
- Business-level English language skills sufficient to produce well-written reports with organized structure and minimal need for grammatical corrections, and to hold articulate verbal communications
- Good verbal communication skills. Must be able to effectively communicate with the client, management, and project personnel on technical and non-technical subjects.
- Interfaces with Clients on matters relating to work assignments
- Ability to effectively communicate verbally on technical and non-technical subjects
- Possession of internationally recognized engineering license such as PE, SE, and CEng is highly preferred.
