Job Description

Job Purpose


Effectively review assigned contracts controlling and mentoring all contracts ensuring that all purchasing procedure and requirements are followed correctly. Control and supervise all tender purchases including quotation control of items to ensure all procedures and requirements are followed.

Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities


  • Lead and confer with CM leaders (supervisors as direct reports) to ensure achievement of planned goals and objectives such as consistent vendor and contract management.
  • Responsible to manage the entire CM function.
  • Ensure compliance with legal governmental and organizational requirements and rules regarding contracts and tenders.
  • Motivates departmental staff by effectively leading directing and motivating employee to perform to the best of their abilities.
  • Instructs and ensures tender specifications are complete and in an acceptable format.
  • Assigns Tender Analysts to particular Tender.
  • Ensures that Contracts are compatible with the Bid Bid Award Notification and Examination of Bids Committee result.
  • Ensures that departmental and KAAUH policies and procedures are followed.
  • Respects patients and their families to promote a patientcentered care culture.
  • Participates in and supports quality improvement and patient safety activities as an individual or as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Performs other job related duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications and Experience

Essential: Bachelors degree; Supply Chain Management or related (such as industrial engineering Business Admin.) alternatively: clinical education (such as clinical Pharmacist Physician etc.) with 9 years of Experience .


Desirable: Masters degree in Supply Chain Management or related (such as industrial engineering Business Admin. Health admin) alternatively: clinical education (such as clinical Pharmacist Physician etc.) with 7 years of Experience.
