The school is accredited by the Council of International Schools (CIS) and as a British School Overseas (BSO). BISR is also a member of the British Schools of the Middle East (BSME) the Council of British International Schools (COBIS) and the Heads Conference (HMC). The BISR Diplomatic Quarter campus is also an IB World School offering the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme. The school follows the English curriculum greatly enriched by the local and international context. Learning is holistic supported by a broad cocurricular programme encompassing extracurricular activities student leadership service learning and residential trips. We are seeking to appoint a Learning Support Assistant to join the Support for Learning Team and work collaboratively to provide a high quality educational experience to students. The Support for Learning team is a highly committed team of specialist teachers and Learning Support Assistants who work cooperatively and imaginatively. The candidate should be an outstanding classroom practitioner able to provide support and guidance to colleagues and parents.

The successful candidates will:
Be enthusiastic highly motivated and with a strong track record of working within a similar type of role.
Show evidence of having previous learning experience working with children.
Be proactive in their approach providing learning support to primary and/or senior students in mainstream classes small groups and on a 1:1 basis.
Show confidence in working with young children in and outside a classroom.
Have excellent interpersonal skills high levels of emotional intelligence and be able to deal effectively and work collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders and teams.
Fully support the school Mission Vision and Motto.
Have KSA residency status.
