Job Description
- Handles more operational and day-to-day accounting duties.
- Financial Record Keeping:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
- Ensure all financial transactions are recorded accurately and timely.
- Payroll Management:
- Process payroll and ensure timely payment of salaries and benefits.
- Maintain payroll records and handle related queries.
- Expense Management:
- Monitor and control clinic expenses to ensure financial efficiency.
- Review and approve expense reports and invoices.
- Inventory Management:
- Oversee and manage inventory, ensuring accurate tracking and control of supplies and medications.
- Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies.
- Software Management:
- Utilize accounting software and practice management software to streamline financial processes.
- Ensure software systems are updated and functioning correctly.
- Client Billing:
- Oversee client billing processes, ensuring accuracy and timely invoicing.
- Handle billing inquiries and resolve discrepancies.
- Continuous Learning:
- Stay updated with the latest developments in accounting practices and healthcare finance. Attend relevant workshops, seminars, and training sessions.
- Data Security:
- Ensure that all financial data is securely stored and managed, complying with data protection regulations and best practices.
