Role: QA / tester

Location *This is an onsite position in Austin TX

Duration: Fulltime

Required Skills

Responsible for reviewing and implementing systematic test plans. You will collaborate with software developers and project supports to determine project scope and requirements. Success in this role will be demonstrated by providing quality work output screening for errors and refining usability throughout the software development and implementation process.

QA Tester Job Responsibilities and Duties

Executes test cases under varying circumstances

Documents and evaluates test results

Ability to write test scripts for automated tools and testing

Detects logs and reports program bugs and glitches

Tracks defects and helps troubleshoot errors

Reviews test procedures and develops test scripts

Partners with engineers to drive QA efforts

Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Tester or similar role

Familiarity with Agile frameworks

Ability to document and troubleshoot errors

Working knowledge of test management tools (Jira HP ALM) and testing software tools (Postman Selenium SoapUI) and SQL (basic)

Excellent communication skills

Attention to details in requirements

Analytical mind and problemsolving aptitude

Strong organizational skills

Responsibilities Perform QA tasks under the direction of the lead QA. Ability to work with the clients and developers to identify and resolve issues.
