Skills/ Must Haves:
* 10 years of professional experience
* Bachelors degree in CS IT or related field
* current management experience managing large teams and big budgets (multimillion dollar budgets) (need to see management senior management job titles in current or last position(s))
* experience in Docker and/or Kubernetes
* solid experience in the cloud (GCP AWS and/or Azure)
* infrastructure automation experience in Chef Puppet Ansible
* has experience utilizing CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and/or TeamCity
* solid experience with Salesforce
Nice to Have Skills:
* previous management experience
* relevant certifications
* proficiency in virtualization platforms like Denodo and Dremio
* linux operating system knowledge
* experience with MySQL Oracle Cassandra and/or MongoDB
* working understanding of scripting in any one of Bash Python Perl Ruby
Job Description:
The Infrastructure & Ops Lead is responsible for overseeing the ecommerce organizations IT infrastructure and operations. They work to ensure that IT systems and networks are wellmaintained secure and available. The Infrastructure & Ops Lead often manages teams that handle tasks such as server administration network management system security and IT support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a strategic plan for the organizations IT infrastructure to support business objectives
- Oversee the maintenance and configuration of servers network devices and data centers to ensure optimal performance and reliability
- Manage cloud infrastructure and services including public and private cloud solutions to support scalability and costefficiency
- Lead and maintain security measures to protect the organizations data and infrastructure from threats and vulnerabilities
- Develop and implement plans to ensure the organizations ability to recover from IT disasters and maintain business continuity
- Monitor and forecast infrastructure capacity needs to accommodate growth and changing demands
- Manage relationships with technology vendors and service providers to ensure timely support and service delivery
- Lead the response and executive reporting for IT incidents outages and service disruptions minimizing downtime and impact on users
- Lead implementation of automation tools and processes to streamline infrastructure management and reduce manual tasks with DevOps teams
- Manage a team of IT professionals responsible for infrastructure and operations tasks including hiring training and performance management
Required Skills and Experience:
- Proficiency in leading and managing infrastructure and operations teams
- Ability to oversee and maintain IT infrastructure including servers networks and cloud resources
- Skill in ensuring the reliability scalability and security of technology infrastructure
- Capability to develop and execute infrastructure and operations strategies aligned with business objectives
- Proficiency in budget management and resource allocation for technology infrastructure
- Understanding of IT governance compliance and risk management
- Ability to collaborate with crossfunctional teams including IT support security and development
- Skill in disaster recovery planning and business continuity management
- Knowledge of emerging technologies and trends in infrastructure and operations such as cloud computing and DevOps
- Effective communication and leadership skills to drive technology initiatives and align them with business goals
- Effective knowledge of IT service management and operations best practices
