Job Description
Job Title: Director of Data Science
Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Director of Data Science to lead our data science team and drive datadriven decisionmaking across the organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data science excellent leadership abilities and a passion for leveraging data to solve complex business problems.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of data scientists providing guidance mentorship and support.
- Develop and execute data science strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Oversee the design and implementation of data models algorithms and statistical analyses.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to identify data needs and provide actionable insights.
- Ensure data quality and integrity by establishing and maintaining best practices.
- Communicate findings and recommendations to senior leadership and stakeholders.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies in data science.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree or higher in Data Science Statistics Computer Science or a related field.
- Proven experience (7 years) in data science with a strong track record of leadership roles.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python R or SQL.
- Experience with machine learning statistical analysis and data visualization tools.
- Excellent problemsolving skills and ability to work with complex data sets.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to present datadriven insights effectively.
- Experience in managing largescale data projects and teams.
