Director of Data Science

Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Director of Data Science to lead our data science team and drive datadriven decisionmaking across the organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data science excellent leadership abilities and a passion for leveraging data to solve complex business problems.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of data scientists providing guidance mentorship and support.
• Develop and execute data science strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Oversee the design and implementation of data models algorithms and statistical analyses.
• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to identify data needs and provide actionable insights.
• Ensure data quality and integrity by establishing and maintaining best practices.
• Communicate findings and recommendations to senior leadership and stakeholders.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies in data science.

Qualifications:

• Masters degree or higher in Data Science Statistics Computer Science or a related field.
• Proven experience (7 years) in data science with a strong track record of leadership roles.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python R or SQL.
• Experience with machine learning statistical analysis and data visualization tools.
• Excellent problemsolving skills and ability to work with complex data sets.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to present datadriven insights effectively.
• Experience in managing largescale data projects and teams.
