Job Description
We are seeking a detailoriented Fund Accountant to join our team. In this role you will be responsible for managing the financial aspects of investment funds ensuring compliance with regulations and maintaining accurate records. You will work closely with financial managers analysts and auditors to ensure the timely and accurate reporting of fund performance.
Responsibilities:- Prepare financial statements for various investment funds.
- Perform daily accounting activities such as reconciliations and journal entries.
- Monitor fund cash flow investments and distributions.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (GAAP IFRS).
- Assist with audits by preparing necessary reports and documentation.
- Liaise with clients investment managers and external auditors.
- Analyze financial data and provide insights into fund performance.
- Prepare tax reports and assist with tax filing for the funds.
- Maintain accurate records of portfolio transactions and valuations.
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field.
- Minimum of 23 years of experience in fund accounting or financial services.
- Knowledge of GAAP/IFRS regulations and industry compliance.
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks Oracle).
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- CPA or CFA certification (preferred).
