Position Overview: The VP of Security will be responsible for overseeing and managing the security operations and strategies within Augmentjobs. This role involves developing and implementing security policies leading a team of security professionals and ensuring the overall safety and security of the organizations assets information and personnel.
Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership:

Develop and execute the security strategy aligned with organizational goals and objectives.

Oversee the implementation of security policies procedures and protocols.

Team Management:

Lead and mentor a team of security professionals.

Foster a culture of security awareness and continuous improvement.

Risk Management:

Identify and assess security risks and implement appropriate mitigation strategies.

Conduct regular security audits and assessments.

Incident Management:

Manage and respond to security incidents and breaches.

Develop and maintain incident response plans and procedures.

Compliance and Regulatory Requirements:

Ensure compliance with relevant security regulations standards and best practices.

Liaise with regulatory bodies and maintain uptodate knowledge of security laws and regulations.

Collaboration:

Work closely with other departments to integrate security measures into business processes.

Collaborate with external partners and vendors to enhance security posture.

Reporting and Documentation:

Prepare and present security reports to senior management.

Maintain comprehensive documentation of security policies procedures and incidents.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Experience: 2 to 5 years of experience in a security leadership role.

Education: Bachelors degree in Security Management Information Technology or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g. CISSP CISM) are preferred.

Leadership: Proven ability to lead and manage a team effectively.

Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of security technologies risk management and incident response.

Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex security issues to nontechnical stakeholders.

Analytical Skills: Strong problemsolving and analytical skills with the ability to assess and mitigate security risks.

Compliance: Knowledge of relevant security regulations and standards.
