Accountant

Our organization an established family owned Honolulu based real estate investment company is in search of a selfdirected and experienced person to assist with all financial and accounting activities. The position reports to the CFO and assists with overseeing the accounting department budget management financial analysis payroll forecasting accounts payable accounts receivable.

Responsibilities and duties will include:

Manage the daily operation of the accounting department.

Post cash receipts and late fees to tenants account

Develop cash management solutions monitor and report on the financial performance of the company

Enter in new tenants into the accounting system

Assist property managers with tenant inquires

Enter and maintain sales reports

Send statements and account updates to tenants

Address and solve client questions and issues

Accurately report general excise taxes monthly

Posting general ledger and preparing and reviewing account reconciliations

Finalizes and closes out all financial activity for the preceding month

Report financial performance to property managers

Qualifications

• Ability to interpret and analyze financial statements and periodicals
• Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook Excel Word PowerPoint etc.)
