Job Description
Our client a European manufacturing company specializing in the development and production of Medical and Consumer Goods has opened a new site in Sungai Petani Kedah. They are currently seeking a dynamic Manufacturing General Manager to lead the operations at this facility and ensure that business goals are met efficiently and effectively.
Responsibilities
Operational Management:
- Oversee daily operations ensuring production targets and quality standards are met.
- Implement and optimize operational processes and workflows to improve efficiency.
- Manage production schedules resource allocation and logistics.
Strategic Planning:
- Develop and implement business strategies to drive growth and profitability in alignment with Company Group Management.
- Analyze market trends and industry developments to inform strategic decisions.
- Identify opportunities for expansion and diversification.
Financial Oversight:
- Prepare and manage budgets forecasts and financial reports.
- Monitor financial performance and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Ensure cost control and profitability of operations.
Team Leadership:
- Lead mentor and motivate a diverse team of professionals across various departments.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work culture.
- Ensure continuous professional development and training for staff.
Quality Control:
- Ensure all products and services meet quality standards and client expectations.
- Implement and oversee quality assurance processes and procedures.
- Address and resolve any issues related to product quality.
Client Relations:
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
- Address client concerns and feedback promptly and professionally.
- Work to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Compliance and Safety:
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations safety standards and company policies.
- Oversee health and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
- Manage risk assessment and mitigation strategies.
Sustainability Initiatives:
- Execute Company Group sustainability strategy and promote and integrate sustainable practices across all departments and operations.
- Monitor and report on sustainability performance metrics identifying areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to drive environmentallyfriendly initiatives and reduce the companys carbon footprint.
Reporting:
- Provide regular reports to the Company Group Management Team on operational performance financial status and strategic initiatives.
- Develop and present performance metrics and KPIs to track progress and drive improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration Management Engineering or a related field (Masters degree preferred).
- Proven experience in a senior management role preferably in the production or manufacturing industry.
- Strong understanding of business functions such as finance marketing and operations.
- Experience in working with multinational cooperations.
- Excellent leadership communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to develop and execute strategic plans.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant business software.
- Experience with SAP systems is a plus.

- Basic: RM18000 RM20000
