Job Description
Are you organized detailoriented and skilled in logistics management Affinity Services is looking for a proactive and experienced Transport Controller to manage our fleet operations efficiently. If you have a passion for logistics and enjoy working in a fastpaced environment this is the role for you!
Tasks
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily transport operations ensuring timely delivery of goods.
- Manage and monitor the performance of drivers vehicles and delivery schedules.
- Coordinate vehicle maintenance and compliance with safety regulations.
- Plan optimal routes to minimize costs and maximize efficiency.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries fuel consumption and vehicle performance.
- Liaise with suppliers customers and internal teams to ensure smooth logistics operations.
Requirements
Requirements:
- Grade 12/Matric certificate; a logistics or transportation qualification is an advantage.
- Previous experience in transport or fleet management.
- Excellent organizational and problemsolving skills.
- Proficiency in logistics software and route planning tools.
- Strong communication and leadership abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
