Tasks
You are a Backend Engineer building features that meet customer needs and drive business impact.
Collaborating with product managers designers and engineers you plan implement and deliver backend features. You have an open mind for new solutions and enjoy validating ideas through experiments and metrics.
Entrusted with significant responsibility you ask the deeper why Questions understand root problems create plans and develop new backend features. Your work spans the software stack focusing on backend development AI integration and DevOps tasks as needed. You are committed to writing highquality maintainable scalable code ensuring the software meets high standards. Rest assured youre never alone you can rely on your team for support in areas where you may not feel comfortable. Learning from one another and growing with your responsibilities are key aspects of the job.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in backend development.
- Strong analytical skills with a creative approach to problemsolving.
- Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to changing requirements.
- Strong communication skills collaborative attitude and ability to work effectively within a diverse team.
Backend Development
- Design develop and maintain highperformance backend services using Python.
- Write clean maintainable and scalable code with a strong emphasis on type annotations and best practices.
Database Management
- Design efficient SQL database schemas and optimize queries for performance.
- Utilize NoSQL databases like Redis for caching and realtime data processing.
API Development
- Develop robust RESTful APIs and ensure excellent API design and documentation.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to integrate APIs with frontend services and AI models.
AI/LLM Technologies
- Integrate and optimizevector databases for AI applications.
- Work closely with researchers to deploy Large Language Models (LLMs) and Generative AI technologies.
Task Queues and Management
- Implement and manage task queues to handle background jobs and asynchronous tasks.
- Optimize task management for scalability and reliability.
Cloud Services
- Deploy and manage applications on Azure or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Utilize cloud services to enhance application scalability performance and reliability.
Logging and Monitoring
- Implement logging solutions and monitoring tools to track system performance and troubleshoot issues.
Code Quality and Testing
- Commitment to writing highquality robust and scalable production code.
- Ensure code quality through unit testing integration testing and adherence to best practices.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
