Today we are hiring a General Manager for our client In Santa Clara CA. Their experience level must be at Midsenior and they must have experience required of 5 Years. The education level will have to be at least a bachelors degree this is a requirement. Were looking for a General Manager in Santa Clara. The General Manager is a key stakeholder within our team ensuring customer satisfaction leading company guidelines and processes and ultimately company profitability.

The successful candidate will:

  • Work closely with the Distribution Manager Warehouse and Service in daily operations and holding departments and staff accountable
  • Ensure all branch departments work as one team
  • Identify customer issues quickly and promptly respond with appropriate communication and/or corrective action with operations and Key Account Managers
  • Coordinate of field pricing changes and other strategic projects
  • Coordinate new account and assists with client management & retention
  • Collaborate with other departments to improve all business processes efficiencies and best practices
  • Champion a safetyfocused work environment for all operations
  • Carrie out all leadership responsibilities in accordance with the organizations policies and applicable laws

We are looking for candidates who:

  • Has 5 years of combined management experience required with a preference within the distribution industry
  • Has valid drivers license and acceptable driving record
  • Possess the ability to obtain security clearance for customer locations
  • Is an effective communicator and collaborator with passion for developing talent through coaching and accountability
  • Is able to demonstrate urgency and problemsolving skills with a dedication to customer service and associate accountability
  • Has the ability to learn and work within database inventory management software route scheduling software and Microsoft Outlook Excel and Word
  • Has the ability to lift push and pull 50 lbs. and able to perform work in outside weather conditions

Position Summary:

  • Functions as the inunit leader for multiple accounts and/or contracts within a defined geography. Single point of contact and/or client liaison in support of a multisite.

Key Duties

  • Monitors operations by planned and unplanned visits to each operating account of the system to plan projects implement new processes client interactions and new technology to ensure sufficient resources.
  • Develops business plan and budget w/each account GM that supports the System and District goals Reviews and analyzes financial statements and data and other financial information to ensure attainment of financial goals for the client.
  • Central Point of Contact for Client Liaison promoting a solid business partnership assists in contract negotiations for the system.
  • Maintains Quality & Company Standards reviews and maintains reports to ensure compliance with federal state and local regulations and Sodexo / System Client(s) policies and procedures.
  • Responsible for system succession planning/employee development/diversity initiatives/training/constructive counseling. Promotes and supports workplace diversity initiatives.
  • Provides strategic leadership to the respective units within the system to maintain client satisfaction and retention.

Basic Qualifications & Requirements

  • Basic Education Requirement Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience
  • Basic Management Experience 5 years
  • Basic Functional Experience 5 years

  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience.
