Job Description:
Mobiveil Technologies is seeking a highly skilled Senior Design & Verification Engineer with a focus on Ethernet technologies to join our Offshore Development Center (ODC).
The successful candidate will have a robust background in Ethernet design and verification with at least 4 years of handson experience.
This role involves working on cuttingedge projects designing and verifying Ethernet systems and ensuring high performance and reliability of network solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and Development:
- Architect and design Ethernet solutions focusing on highperformance and scalable network systems.
- Develop detailed design specifications and ensure compliance with IEEE 802.3 standards and other relevant protocols.
- Verification and Testing:
- Create and execute comprehensive verification plans and test cases for Ethernet designs.
- Utilize simulation and validation tools to ensure design correctness and performance benchmarks.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex design and verification issues including performance bottlenecks and interoperability problems.
- Collaboration and Integration:
- Work closely with crossfunctional teams to integrate Ethernet designs into larger systems and platforms.
- Provide technical support and guidance to internal teams ensuring effective implementation and deployment of Ethernet solutions.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Document design processes verification results and system performance comprehensively.
- Report on design progress issues and resolutions and provide recommendations for improvements.
- Continuous Learning:
- Stay informed about the latest trends technologies and advancements in Ethernet design and verification.
- Apply new knowledge to enhance existing designs and verification methodologies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science Electronics or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in Ethernet design and verification.
- Deep understanding of Ethernet protocols including IEEE 802.3 standards and other related technologies.
- Proven experience in creating and executing design verification plans and test cases.
- Proficiency with simulation and verification tools such as ModelSim Verilog VHDL or similar.
- Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail and problemsolving capabilities.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a remote environment.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with additional networking technologies (e.g. VLAN TCP/IP SNMP).
- Knowledge of network security practices and tools.
- Familiarity with FPGA or ASIC design and verification processes.
- Experience working in a distributed team or remote work environment.
