Job Summary:
The IT Support Specialist will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to endusers resolving hardware and software issues and ensuring the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure. This role requires excellent problemsolving skills a strong technical background and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and nontechnical users.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide firstlevel technical support to endusers via phone email or inperson.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware software and network issues.
- Install configure and maintain computer systems software and peripherals.
- Assist with the setup and maintenance of user accounts and access permissions.
- Monitor and maintain IT infrastructure including servers networks and security systems.
- Document and track support requests and resolutions using a ticketing system.
- Collaborate with other IT team members to identify and implement improvements.
- Provide training and support to endusers on various software applications and IT procedures.
- Stay uptodate with the latest technology trends and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology Computer Science or a related field/equivalent experience.
- Proven 12 years of experience as an IT Support Specialist or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems.
- Familiarity with network protocols hardware and software troubleshooting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Relevant certifications (CompTIA A Microsoft Certified IT Professional) are a plus.
