Job Description
What you will be doing:
- Sets up and operates flexographic printing press to print designs or lettering on rolls of flexible plastic film.
- Reads job order and mounts specified plate and printing anilox’s.
- Trains operators on how to read job order mount plates and properly care for anilox’s.
- Starts press adjusting speed tension and alignment of printing plate as necessary.
- May mix inks to produce desired colors.
- Works closely with ink reps and other partners that support the printing operation.
Experience you will need:
- Associates degree in related field; or equivalent combination of education or work experience preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of work experience preferably in a manufacturing environment Flexographic printing industry preferred.
