Responsibilities:

• Work collaboratively with general education teachers related service providers and parents
• Develop and implement IEPs in compliance with the IDEA and IL regulations
• Provide behavior interventions
• Provide academic interventions
• Participate in functional behavioral analysis and behavior intervention planning
• Direct instructional aides in the implementation of accommodations and/or modifications
• Participate in the problemsolving team process
• Provide progress monitoring and data collection to drive instructional decisions
• Demonstrate initiative problemsolving skills and flexibility

Qualifications:

• Illinois Professional Educator License with Learning Behavior Specialist 1 endorsement
• Expertise with behavioral and academic interventions
• Ability to analyze student academic and behavior data for instructional purposes
• Strong curricular knowledge related to programming for behavior and academic needs
• Trained in CPI certification
