• Inspect plumbing systems installations and equipment to ensure compliance with local plumbing codes safety standards and regulations.
  
• Review plumbing plans and blueprints to verify they meet all required codes and standards.
  
• Conduct inspections of residential commercial and industrial plumbing systems at various stages of construction and installation.
  
• Identify and document violations deficiencies or hazards in plumbing systems and recommend corrective actions.
  
• Prepare detailed inspection reports and maintain accurate records of inspections compliance and enforcement actions.
  
• Provide technical guidance and support to plumbers contractors and property owners regarding plumbing codes and safety practices.
  
• Respond to inquiries and complaints related to plumbing installations and code compliance.
  
• Stay updated on changes in plumbing codes regulations and industry best practices to ensure accurate inspections and recommendations.
  
• Collaborate with other municipal departments and agencies to address and resolve plumbingrelated issues.
  

Requirements

• Relevant certification or diploma in Plumbing Inspection Plumbing Technology or a related field.
  
• Proven experience as a plumbing inspector or in a similar role with a strong understanding of plumbing codes and safety regulations.
  
• Excellent observational and analytical skills for assessing plumbing installations and identifying issues.
  
• Strong communication skills for interacting with plumbers contractors and municipal officials.
  
• Detailoriented with strong organizational skills for managing inspection reports and records.
