Job Description
• Work with customers to select specify and qualify products to customer and industry specifications within industrial commercial university research construction manufacturing gas exploration biotech power and chemical/petrochemical industries.
• Write edit and review/approve documentation to support design changes with the ability to work from general instructions shop or CAD drawings fluid system schematics P&IDs blueprints or diagrams.
• Interface with sales team to provide technical support as needed including quotes and orders. Will involve customer site activities within company territory.
• Actively engage with continuous improvement education/training and professional/personal development in alignment with company programs. Use technology to streamline and improve work processes.
Qualifications
Education and Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in chemical mechanical or related engineering discipline is required.
• 2 years experience in fabricating assembly or manufacturing is preferred.
• Extensive SolidWorks experience.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
• Skilled in interpreting and understanding customer applications in order to develop P&ID and fluid schematics.
• Ability to learn the features and benefits of multiple product families and related manufacturing processes.
• Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities work in a dynamic team environment and use a variety of systems and quality processes to manage complex and changing requirements.
• Proficiency with MSOffice Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint Outlook etc.)
*Must be able to pass background checks and drug testing onsite as required by customers on customer visits.
