Job Title: Wearable Device Fitness Tester (Strictly W2)
Location: Day 1 onsite from Mountain View CA
Duration: 12 Months
Job Description Overview:
Wearables device fitness algo tester Requirements:
Passion for working out
Strong communication skills
Author test plans and cases for new and existing features
Execute test cases and report results
Debug and analyze issues
Work with other team members to increase test coverage or update current tests
Utilize testing best practices and processes within the engineering team
Execute scripts
Able to wear one or multiple smart watches to perform testing.
Able to wear devices during sleep.
As part of test the individual will execute a number of fitness related test cases in addition to their regular product testing. Tests include 20 minutes of varied level of exercises multiple times per day. Tests include but are not limited to physical activities such as:
Walking (indoor and outdoor)
Running (indoor and outdoor)
Bike Riding (indoor and outdoor)
Lap Swimming (indoor and outdoor)
High Intensity Interval Training (H.I.I.T.)
Ideal
SW Test/Validation Engineer who has experience with validation of SW on HW products
Experience with validating consumer HW devices/wearables. (Fitness focused products would be ideal Garmin Peloton etc
