COMPANY OVERVIEW: Global Dropoff Logistics (GDL) is a leading, multi-national, warehousing and logistics company dedicated to helping African businesses export, operate, trade, and expand rapidly in the USA and globally. Our services encomp warehousing, distribution, marketing, and consultation, enabling Clients to efficiently scale their operations globally.
POSITION SUMMARY: The Corporate Service Specialist will spearhead GDL’s efforts to engage and support African businesses in leveraging our comprehensive logistics and marketing services. The role involves building strong relationships with key stakeholders, identifying business opportunities, and ensuring seamless of services to facilitate efficient export and trade operations in the USA. The Specialist will preferably be based in one of the identified countries and will be igned a territory.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Business Development:
- Identify and target potential African businesses that can benefit from GDL's services.
- Conduct market research to understand the needs and challenges of African businesses looking to export and trade in the USA.
- Convert leads to Clients
- Meet and exceed KPI Targets
2. Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers and stakeholders in African businesses.
- Provide consultative support to clients, helping them understand how GDL’s services can enhance their operations and market reach.
- Serve as a point of contact for clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
3. Service Coordination and :
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of services to African businesses.
4. Marketing and Promotion:
- Represent GDL at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to promote our services and network with potential clients.
- Develop strategies to promote GDL’s offerings and attract new business.
5. Reporting and ysis:
- Prepare reports on market trends, client feedback, and service performance.
- Provide insights and recommendations to senior management for continuous improvement.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Logistics, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
• 1 year of experience in business development, sales, or logistics, preferably within an international context.
• Understanding of the African business landscape and export processes is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal ss, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
• Few national and international travel may be required
