Hi
I m the direct recruiter for Technologists CT MRI Radiology or Sonographer with a primary care/specialty federal hospital.
Portland OR

FullTime 1year minimum Contract; Overtime available
As a skilled CT MRI Radiology Technologist or Sonographer with Portland VA Medical Center ( ) you ll perform daily inspections/operate the scanner under the direction of the Lead/Safety Officer Technologist or Chief Technologist work independently perform Imaging procedures across all diagnostic exams (head neck spine chest abdomen pelvis and extremities base on role) to achieve diagnostic studies so proper diagnosis/treatment will be delivered.
HIGHLIGHTS:
Schedule patients for exams
Provide Xrays throughout the medical centers
Prepare patients for procedures explaining the procedures to be performed
Select proper ionizing factors for diagnosis
Maintain records of patients examinations views images settings
Confers with radiologists
Follow appropriate policies for after hour requests across each modality: CT MRI UltraSound Diagnostic
REQUIREMENTS
ARRT/BCLS certifications plus 12 years of experience within the last 6 months in a hospital lab setting for your specialty to include:
Evidence of demonstrated lab competence
Available to work for the Portland VA Medical Center 3710 SW Veterans Hospital Road Portland Oregon 97239 (accommodation can be provided for travelers into this engagement)
