JOB TITLE: ACCOUNTS PAYABLE ACCOUNTANT
LOCATION: WASHINGTON DC
Our client an innovative dynamic multifaceted strategic communications and digital agency in Washington DC is seeking an Accounts Payable Accountant. This role supports the Controller and CFO. The successful candidate will be a sharp selfstarter who can work independently. A gogetter who can problem solve and create their own accountability will thrive in this position.
Please note that this is a sixweek contract position and is a hybrid role. Three days per week in the office is required. Our clients office is located near the Farragut metro station in Washington DC.
Requirements:
- BS in Accounting with 23 years of experience processing 150 Full Cycle Accounts Payable Invoices and Credit Card Transactions weekly
- Experience with Accounts Payable Journal Entries Treasury Functions and General Ledger Reconciliations
- Proven ability to multitask and work in a team atmosphere is reured
- Ability to support monthend close.
- Experience with Intercompany Accounting is preferred
- Exposure to ERP System Implementation is a plus
- Ability to create systems and process improvements and efficiencies is a bonus
- Expertise with Microsoft Excel
