Location: Lithuania/Poland/other countries (remote work possible)
Type of employment: Contract
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Own individual parts of the systems and take technical decisions;
- Design and develop new features and maintain existing web applications;
- Integrate various REST APIs;
- Work with PHP using the latest tools and technologies;
- Troubleshoot issues and identify solutions;
- Write clean and testable code;
- Work in a multifunctional selforganized team based on Agile principles and Scrum framework;
- Embrace both learning from and teaching your team members fostering a culture of growth;
- Manage your tasks backlog align it with team members sprint objectives and product goals;
- Suggest improvements that ensure our systems remain at the forefront of technology maintaining our competitive edge.
DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
- 5 years experience in Web Development;
- Extensive knowledge of PHP/MySQL;
- Solid OOP knowledge experience with Symfony;
- Working knowledge with Git versioning system;
- Experience with API integrations;
- Experience in setting a Local & Staging/Production environments;
- Experience working in a team of developers on complex sophisticated projects;
- Excellent attention to quality and details;
- Good time & task management skills;
- Ability to communicate effectively;
- Good English level (both written and spoken)
PREFERRED:
- PHPUnit testing REST API SQL and any ORM;
- Bonus if you are familiar with Frontend: knowledge of Object Oriented Javascript HTML5 CSS3 (SASS) Bootstrap experience with Vue.js NPM Webpack;
- Experience with: GitLab Jenkins Nginx TDD RabbitMQ Redis;
- Experience in working by Agile principles and Scrum framework.
