Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain detailed 3D models for utility infrastructure using Autodesk Civil 3D software.
- Interpret and convert design concepts plans and specifications into accurate Civil 3D models.
- Perform clash detection and resolution for utility systems to ensure proper integration with other design elements.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate utility models with overall project designs and resolve any design conflicts.
- Create and update utility design drawings profiles crosssections and related documentation.
- Conduct model quality control and validation to ensure compliance with project standards and specifications.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for modeling issues and softwarerelated challenges.
- Participate in project meetings and provide updates on modeling progress challenges and solutions.
- Stay current with industry trends best practices and advancements in Civil 3D and utility modeling.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
- Proficiency in Autodesk Civil 3D software & Navisworks with a strong focus on utility modeling.
- Experience with utility design and drafting including water sewer and stormwater systems.
- Knowledge of civil engineering principles standards and practices related to utility infrastructure.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Experience with GIS software and other design tools is a plus.
- Certification in Autodesk Civil 3D or related software is desirable
