Tasks
- Address problems and provide support for the Accounts Payable assistant addressing complex issues and queries.
- Handle employee cash and corporate credit card expenses and manage payments such as refunds and commissions through the banking system.
- Liaise with suppliers to address their queries and oversee bank reconciliations and payment postings.
- Help with monthend procedures such as bank reconciliations and intercompany transactions and ensure compliance with policies and accurate statement reconciliations.
- Supply financial information as needed assist staff with their queries provide coverage for other team members and adapt to shifting priorities.
Requirements
- Team leadership experience for at least 12 years
- Experienced in accounts payable skilled in technical accounting comfortable with Excel (e.g. VLOOKUPs and pivot tables) and proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Strong customer service skills keen attention to detail and a high standard of customer care.
- Organized and systematic with strong prioritization skills and the ability to handle high volumes of work independently and on time as well as flexibility.
- Good communication skills interactive and an interpersonal understanding
- Quick to learn and apply new knowledge with high levels of initiative selfmotivation and a flexible attitude; also possesses a solid understanding of VAT and sound commercial judgment.
