Description and Deliverables of the Service
The automation project for the Tube Product Line manages the integration of automated and robotic solutions in factories. The tasks include writing specifications coordinating with suppliers implementing and standardizing equipment and optimizing productivity through innovations in automation and digital technologies. The project aligns with the Industry 4.0 strategic plan and contributes to the continuous improvement of production processes.
Main Activities
Management of the automation project (automation robotics AGVs vision systems) within the different factories of the Tube Product Line:
- Writing the technical specifications based on project data experience business recommendations and the needs of the client factories.
- Making decisions in accordance with the project requirements.
- Managing relationships with equipment suppliers in collaboration with the purchasing department.
- Leading all other stakeholders necessary for the implementation of the systems (system designers automation specialists safety/ergonomics documentation etc.) to ensure the application and compliance with company standards.
- Ensuring the acceptance of automation systems.
- Overseeing the implementation in the field.
- Ensuring the commissioning of systems.
Development and modification of machine programs according to factory needs.
Standardization of industrial equipment.
Participation in and development of the Industry 4.0 Strategic Plan.
Contributing to productivity optimization (Machine & Direct Labor) for the entire Tube activity through the following tasks:
- Researching digital and automation innovations to increase operational productivity.
- Supporting maintenance teams in defining troubleshooting interventions on automation systems.
- Improving the reliability and processes of handling packing and logistics in existing lines.
- Testing and finetuning all new automated elements to be integrated into production lines.
Accountability Including KPIs
- Availability rate of automated equipment.
- Reduction of operating costs: Savings achieved through automation.
- Increase in production or reduction in cycle time due to automation.
- Success rate of commissioning.
- Innovations and continuous improvements.
Desired Expertise
- Masters degree in IT Systems and Robotics Management (BAC5) or in Mechanical/Robotic Engineering focused on Industry of the Future.
