Job Description
Our client is currently seeking a Medical Record Specialist with HEDIS experience to contribute to the quality improvement and data collection efforts in healthcare. The ideal candidate will be responsible for reviewing medical records collaborating with healthcare providers and ensuring compliance with HEDIS measures.
Responsibilities:
- Review and analyze medical records to ensure compliance with HEDIS measures.
- Accurately input and document medical data into the relevant systems following established procedures.
- Coordinate with healthcare providers to gather necessary records and ensure timely reporting.
- Assist with the collection and submission of HEDIS data ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
- Document all communications with healthcare providers in a clear and organized manner.
- Collaborate with the quality improvement team to ensure efficient operations and compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information and adhere to all data protection policies and procedures.
- Continuously update knowledge of HEDIS measures and healthcare quality improvement trends to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Requirements:
- Active RN or LPN license in Pennsylvania.
- Experience with HEDIS data collection and reporting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and medical record systems.
- Must be able to work efficiently in a hybrid (remote and office) environment.
- MUST RESIDE IN HARRISBURG PA
