Essential criteria
1. 2 years of experience with SAS Viya platform products architecture supporting technologies and implementation best practices.
2. Ability to associate business requirements to technical concepts and capabilities that pertains to SAS System applications and enduser needs.
3. Specialized in frontend programming frameworks such as Angular or ReactJS.
4. Good knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases scripting languages opensource programming REST APIs and cloud computing technologies.
Desirable criteria
1. Technical Expertise: Ability to understand synthesize utilize and integrate prevailing external SAS supported technologies with SAS solutions. Fundamental understanding of SAS Visual Investigator architecture and implementation best practices. Proficiency in data manipulation statistical analysis and data visualization using SAS Strong understanding of database management and data warehousing concepts and principles (ETL). Familiarity with Python for data engineering tasks is a PLUS
2. Analytical and ProblemSolving Skills: Excellent analytical skills with the ability to solve complex problems using SAS. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data analysis and reporting. Ability to develop innovative solutions to meet business requirements.
3. Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to explain technical concepts to nontechnical stakeholders. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
4. Professional Experience and Education: A degree in Information Technology Computer Science Data Analytics or a related field. Relevant certifications in SAS programming and data analytics are highly desirable. Demonstrated experience in a similar role at the EL1 level or equivalent.
