In 2016 our founders wanted to feed their dogs named Edgard and Cooper pet food they could feel good about. The kind of food that was as good for the planet as it was for their pets. But when they couldnt find this they decided to make their own. Now 8 years later our pack has 200 employees and we are beyond proud to be part of the B Corp movement.

What type of breed are we looking for

In this job you will be in the product and quality squad. People of this squad are the creators & gatekeepers of our products ensuring our Edgard & Cooper ethos is embodied within our complete range. Together with the product team you make sure that all our products are always of superior quality and delivered to perfection.
What is in your bowl
Everything about quality: quality control reporting and quality improvement
- Ensure all supplied goods are compliant to E&C standard and regulations
- Structure report and followup the visual and nutritional controls
- Build a strong communication with all our suppliers and ensure proper followup of complaints
- Execute and follow up on internal audits pest control etc.
- Ensure that E&C is bringing the best products on the market by continuously following up and improving our current portfolio in cooperation with the existing suppliers
- Provide support for critical R&D projects
What skills & tricks should you bring
- At least 3 years of experience in the (pet)food industry in quality department
- Ideally you hold a Bachelor or Master degree in Food Science Biology Microbiology Animal Science or other scientific disciplines with strong background in manufacturing & quality
- Fluency in English is a must; other languages such as French or Spanish are considered a plus
- You are easily dealing with multiple industrial suppliers multiple challenges in European countries
- Strong project management skills (continuous improvement)
- Strong communication skills (external and internal)
- Handson mentality
- Good understanding of regulations and expectations in the petfood industry
- Not frightened to challenge the norm and ready to create the new norms internally and externally !
- Highly organized with a strong attention to details
