Mechanical Assembler in McKinney TX
Shift: 06:00PM02:30PM
Description:
This role will support production & development/prototype assemblies and products within the Advanced Product Center at the McKinney TX site. The selected candidate will perform a wide variety of tasks in support of a manufacturing / production environment.
Duties may include
Disassembly reassembly fabrication repair and/or inspection of electronic electrical and mechanical systems.
May set up and operate a variety of machine and hand instruments. May route dispatch and expedite flow of material.
Checks for work correctness. Specific duties will include material preparation and the assembly and rework of electronic and mechanical assemblies.
Perform wire/cable preparation installation crimping and torquing using hand instruments.
All work is performed in accordance with written work instructions to prescribed standards.
Ability to work with production resources and teammates to meet production goals.
Perform repetitive tasks in accordance with an established demonstrated process.
Perform inprocess inspections in accordance with company standards and customer specifications.
Develop more than one job at a time and have the flexibility to work across shifts.
Required Skill Sets:
Excellent hand/finger dexterity and extreme attention to detail
Basic computer and math skills.
Experience with the use of common hand instruments (screwdrivers sockets ratchets torque tools and analyzers etc.)
Shift job assignments based on production requests.
Demonstrated ability to adhere to detailed work instructions and quality standards
Communicate effectively develop more than one job at a time and have the flexibility to work across shifts.
Ability to work with production resources and teammates to meet production goals. Perform repetitive tasks in accordance with an established demonstrated process.
Perform inprocess inspections in accordance with company standards and customer specifications.
Effective time management skills. Demonstrated motivation for continuous improvement. Ability to accomplish daily work tasks with a positive attitude and interpersonal tact skills.
Related experience working in a Manufacturing Assembly Aviation or Naval Environment with hands on technical experience in repair installation and inspection.
Qualifications We Prefer 2 or more years of applicable work experience
Experience with VM CMES SAP or other manufacturing automation databases and tools
