In August 2022 a project for test automation commenced! We will be promoting test automation across all our services.
Your primary responsibilities will revolve around devising strategies and implementing test automation. Additionally to ensure the harmonization of evolving UX swift service release cycles and high quality youll be tasked with planning and leading the proactive adoption of new technologies and processes including expanding the scope of test automation.
Specific Responsibilities
Test Automation Infrastructure

- Research and investigation in test automationrelated fields
- Investigation of test automation tools
- Investigation of CI/CD tools
Current Initiatives
- Weve initiated the implementation of Appium on other Android/iOS applications where elements can be retrieved. To verify the display of actual images such as banners we also require image recognition. Consequently were progressing with automation using the combination below leveraging the OpenCV image recognition library.
- Were also advancing automation for DLsite our main content platform (using Playwright). This involves both PC and mobile (SP) sites. Validating the SP site is part of the final QA process. Therefore were adapting the to take place on Android and iOS mobile browser environments rather than PC emulators.
