Job Description

Job Title: Wealth Manager
Location: Bengaluru Chennai Hyderabad

About the Client:
Our client a leading player in the financial services industry is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Wealth Managers with expertise in HNI and institutional client management to join their team.

This role focuses on managing relationships with HighNetWorth Individuals (HNIs) and institutional clients including corporates SMEs banks and financial institutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in institutional sales and delivering personalized financial solutions based on comprehensive market insights.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Acquisition & Relationship Management:

o Identify and acquire new clients for comprehensive financial solutions and services.

o Execute monthly sales plans to target large prospective clients and maintain regular contact with all mapped clients through weekly or monthly calls. Track daily targets and hold personal meetings with clients. Additionally identify potential clients (Corporates/Financial Institutions) through referral networks ads directories corporate associations and other channels.

o Ensure 100% client penetration for the sourced business while actively working to increase the share of wallet and revenues from each client.

o Conduct joint calls with the research team for portfolio reviews and client meetings ensuring clients receive uptodate financial advice.

o Collaborate with retail teams to organize worksite meetings within the premises of institutional clients driving further engagement and opportunities for collaboration.

Revenue Growth & Profitability:

o Maintain sales volumes and consistently achieve targeted revenue across all customers and products.

o Provide regular market updates to clients and recommend appropriate investment solutions tailored to their needs.

o Maintain projected fee income at budgeted levels by actively engaging in crossselling initiatives to meet revenue goals.

Team Guidance & Leadership:

o Provide continuous and superior guidance to team members focusing on:

1. Client Acquisition: Driving efforts to acquire new clients and expand the client base.

2. Client Retention & Deepening: Building longterm relationships by enhancing client satisfaction and retention.

3. Brand Positioning: Effectively positioning the brand to attract talent and clients.

Contribute to customer satisfaction initiatives:

o Adhere to ethical and fair practices in the selling of products ensuring integrity in all client interactions.

o Ensure the regular availability of research materials and market insights for clients providing them with valuable inputs for decisionmaking.

o Keep client promises by addressing their grievances promptly and ensuring that concerns are effectively managed or escalated as necessary.

o Stay informed on the latest market developments and report upcoming client requirements to the Regional Head and research team to help drive product and service innovation.

Compliance & Documentation:

o Stay informed of all critical policies and procedures and ensure full compliance with them.

o Support the risk and review process by continuously monitoring client profiles and ensuring thorough documentation including proposals and KYC procedures.

o Coordinate with Client Service Managers (CSM) and financial intermediaries such as mutual funds and banks to ensure smooth transaction processing and operational efficiency.

Market Monitoring & Reporting:

o Send regular activity and sales reports to the Team Lead.

o Keep an eye on competitors and their products and report any updates to the management product and research teams.

Skill Development & Collaboration:

o Commit to ongoing selfdevelopment by attending internal and external training programs as well as obtaining relevant certifications to enhance skills in financial sales and services.

Qualifications & Skills:

Strong experience in wealth management with a focus on HNIs and institutional clients.

Proven expertise in institutional sales and delivering personalized investment solutions.

Strong knowledge of financial markets products and regulatory compliance.

Excellent communication negotiation and leadership skills.

Ability to drive client acquisition retention and contribute to brand positioning.
