Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales Strategy & Planning:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve business objectives including market share growth revenue targets and distribution expansion.
- Identify opportunities for growth within the market leveraging consumer insights and market data to inform sales strategies.
- Set sales targets and KPIs for the team ensuring they are aligned with broader company goals.
2. Team Leadership & Development:
- Lead and manage the sales team including Territory Sales Representatives Key Account Executives and other field personnel.
- Set performance objectives for the sales team and ensure they are met through regular reviews coaching and development.
- Foster a highperformance culture by providing ongoing training motivation and feedback to the sales team.
3. Sales & Territory Management:
- Oversee the of sales initiatives in various regions ensuring optimal coverage and presence in key markets.
- Work with the sales team to secure new retail and distributor partnerships and manage existing relationships to maximize sales opportunities.
- Monitor and support the field team in maintaining strong retail including stock availability merchandising and promotions.
4. Key Account Management:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key retail chains wholesalers and distributors to ensure the brands prominence instore.
- Negotiate contracts promotional agreements and incentive programs with key accounts to maximize sales and shelf space.
- Collaborate with marketing and trade marketing teams to ensure effective of promotional campaigns within key accounts.
5. Sales Performance Tracking & Reporting:
- Monitor and analyze sales performance data providing regular reports on sales trends product performance and team activity.
- Use sales analytics to adjust strategies and ensure targets are being met recommending corrective actions when necessary.
- Provide regular updates to senior management on sales forecasts opportunities and challenges.
6. Budget & Resource Management:
- Manage the sales budget ensuring resources are allocated effectively to support the team in achieving its objectives.
- Ensure that spending is optimized for maximum ROI across all sales activities
7. Market Intelligence & Competitor Analysis:
- Stay informed about industry trends regulatory changes and competitor activities providing insights to the team and senior management.
- Use market intelligence to identify new business opportunities and stay ahead of competitors.
8. Collaboration with Other Departments:
- Work closely with the marketing trade marketing and product development teams to ensure alignment between sales initiatives and overall company objectives.
- Provide feedback from retailers and distributors to help inform product development and marketing strategies.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration Marketing or related field.
- Min 8 years of experience within the FMCG sector with at least 3 years in a managerial role
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing a sales team effectively.
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Deep understanding of the FMCG market dynamics in Lebanon including competitors customer behavior and market trends.
- Excellent negotiation communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze data and make strategic decisions.
- Ability to travel to different areas in Lebanon when needed.
- Fluent in English
