The Role
Due to recent client wins and continued growth the firm is looking to recruit several Audit & Assurance Seniors to join their team in Leeds.
As an Audit & Assurance Senior your main responsibility will be to carry out audit and accountancybased assignments for the firms clients and provide support to the wider Audit & Assurance team. Your key duties will include:
- Planning coordinating and completing audit assignments and accounts work.
- Liaising with those responsible for the preparation of accounts and providing them with the necessary information particularly when liaising with clients on their behalf.
- Ensuring work is completed to meet external deadlines set by clients and regulatory authorities as well as internal deadlines.
- Completing audit or account files in full for the Manager s review within appropriate timeframes and budgets.
- Identifying relevant business issues for clients and bringing them to the attention of the appropriate Manager Partner or the client directly.
- Proactively identifying client needs and developing new business opportunities.
Requirements
To excel in this role the ideal candidate will be:
- ACA / ACCA qualified or studying towards a qualification
- Comfortable working in a fastpaced environment.
- A strong team player willing to assist colleagues wherever possible.
- Able to s workloads effectively under strict deadlines and perform well under pressure.

Previous experience as a Legal Cashier within a law firm is essential. Solid understanding of the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) Accounts Rules. Strong knowledge of legal accounting software Excellent attention to detail and high levels of accuracy. Ability to manage multiple tasks and work to deadlines. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
