Job Description
- Will be the focal point for all information related to Project BIM Delivery.
- Will attend all client coordination meetings with all issues, RFIs and progress related to each discipline.
- Perform QA/QC checks on the completed task from the production teams.
- Coordinate the BIM Team for each discipline.
- Ensure all necessary information is received to produce the BIM models.
- Manage the specific discipline models and the level of detail of each model.
- Maintain a consolidated central model.
- Ensure that the BIM system provides the tools, processes, and support to the BIM teams.
- Ensure that BIM data is compatible, consistent, and accurate.
- Ensure 3D Models are clash coordinated, ensuring coordination of all building components and buildability.
- Manage and maintain project content and source any additional content as required.
- Understand and ensure any changes in procedure and standards are effectively communicated to project teams.
- Coordinate and manage BIM project data sets/workflow and project setup.
- Daily model management administration and maintenance.
- Manage the number of BIM models and the level of detail of each model in line with LODN & LOIN requirements.
- Ensure that the BIM system provides the tools, process, and support to the project team.
- Provide input and support during the clash detection and resolution process.
- Provide input and support during the 4D Planning & Logistics Modelling process.
- Provide input and support during the 5D Cost Planning & Estimation process.
- Ensure that BIM data is compatible, consistent, and accurate.
- Review BIM work produced by the BIM team during and at milestones.
- Manage and monitor BIM reports as per the EIR requirements.
- Ensure that all BIM processes are compliant with the Employer’s EIR requirements.
- Ensure that the BIM processes serve the engineering and site requirements of clash detection and resolution.
