Job Title: Ticketing Associate

Department: Hospitality

Reports to: Hospitality Manager

About the Position

The Ticketing Associate at Belle Meade Historic Site & Winery is responsible for greeting guests and checking in guests with reservations. This role involves selling tickets onsite and guiding guests to various attractions. Ticketing Associates have a passion for providing excellent customer service and a commitment to hospitality.

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Welcome and greet visitors to the site collect tickets and provide guidance on exhibits and points of interest.

  • Display a customerfocused demeanor and effectively engage with large daily crowds.

  • Provide outstanding customer service and promptly address any inquiries from visitors.

  • Develop expertise in all public ticketed experiences and actively promote ticket sales to walkin visitors.

  • Assist in coordinating special events and programs particularly those held on weekends.

  • Fulfill any additional assigned duties as required to support operational needs.

Required Skills/Abilities

  • Excellent oral communication and people skills.

  • Ability to multitask efficiently and within designated timeframes

  • Strong customer service skills

Education and Experience

  • Familiarity with a pointofsale system is desirable

  • Strong customer service skills are a must

  • High school diploma or equivalent is preferred

Work Environment and Physical Demands

  • Sitting standing and walking for prolonged periods of time

  • Ability to bend squat kneel twist grab and lift

  • Provide necessary provisions for individuals with diverse mobility needs

  • Belle Meade Historic Site & Winery is open daily 9:00 am to 5:00 pm; the work schedule for this position reflects these hours including weekends and some holidays
