Position Overview: The Financial Analyst will be responsible for managing and optimizing financial systems and processes within the organization. This role involves analyzing financial data implementing system enhancements and ensuring accurate and efficient financial operations. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills a deep understanding of financial systems and the ability to work collaboratively with crossfunctional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- System Management: Oversee the maintenance configuration and optimization of financial systems including ERP and accounting software.
- Data Analysis: Analyze financial data and generate reports to support decisionmaking and identify trends or anomalies.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance system efficiency and accuracy.
- Troubleshooting: Resolve system issues and provide technical support to users.
- Documentation: Develop and maintain documentation for system processes configurations and updates.
- Compliance: Ensure financial systems and processes comply with regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Collaboration: Work closely with finance IT and other departments to understand requirements and support system integration and upgrades.
- Training: Provide training and support to endusers to ensure effective use of financial systems.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting Information Systems or a related field.
- 3 years of experience in a financial systems analyst role or similar position.
- Strong understanding of financial principles and accounting practices.
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g. SAP Oracle Microsoft Dynamics) and financial software.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques including Excel and SQL.
- Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in financial systems or related areas (e.g. CFA CPA).
- Experience with business intelligence tools (e.g. Tableau Power BI).
- Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance standards.
