Role :
Network Security/Firewall engineer
Responsibilities:
The Network Security/Firewall engineer will be responsible for the design administration and management of Palo Alto and FortiGate Firewalls using Centralized Panorama and FortiManger.
Will be tasked with the following
- Firewall Rules clean up Firewall Optimization(NATs Policies and Routing).
- Identify gaps in network infrastructure security working with internal teams on timely remediation and recommending future improvements.
- Assist in the design and development of network implementations.
- Responsible for maintaining a resilient and secure firewall infrastructure utilizing Palo Alto and Fortinet hardware.
- Create and conduct regular system audits to ensure compliance with security policies and industry standards.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in computer science Information Technology or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Proven experience working with Palo Alto Networks products and FortiGates.
- Strong understanding of network security concepts protocols and technologies.
- Handson experience with firewall administration VPN technologies and network protocols (TCP/IP DNS DHCP Routing and Switching protocols etc.).
- Familiarity with FIREMON environments is a plus.
- Excellent problemsolving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
Education
Bachelors in engineering (preferably)
Masters or MBA
