- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to gather and translate network requirements into scalable and efficient network designs.
- Build configure and troubleshoot network devices including routers switches firewalls load balancers and other network appliances.
- Conduct network capacity planning performance monitoring and optimization to ensure high availability and optimal network performance.
- Implement and maintain network security measures including firewall configurations access controls and intrusion detection systems.
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior network engineers and support teams.
- Collaborate with other IT teams to integrate network infrastructure with other systems and technologies. Conduct network audits and vulnerability assessments to identify potential risks and recommend appropriate remediation strategies.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and emerging technologies in networking and security. Required skills
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field. Equivalent work experience will be considered.
- Extensive experience as a Network Engineer with a focus on designing implementing and managing complex network infrastructure.
- Strong proficiency in Cisco Viptela AWS networking DNA Center ThousandEyes routing and switching technologies.
- Indepth knowledge of network protocols such as TCP/IP BGP OSPF MPLS VLANs VPNs and QoS.
- Experience with network design and architecture including high availability scalability and disaster recovery planning.
- Solid understanding of network security principles and best practices.
- Familiarity with Infoblox or other IP address management (IPAM) solutions.
- Professional certifications such as CCNP CCIE or equivalent will be highly beneficial.
- Excellent problemsolving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex network issues.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to work independently manage multiple tasks and meet project deadlines.
