Job Description
Job Title: Network Engineer (US Citizen Only)
Location: Remote
We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications
Responsibilities:
- Design configure and deploy network solutions including LAN WAN and cloudbased networks.
- Monitor network performance and ensure the reliability availability and security of network systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve network issues including hardware software and connectivity problems.
- Implement and maintain network security measures including firewalls VPNs and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
- Perform regular network maintenance tasks such as upgrades patches and backups.
- Collaborate with IT teams to plan and execute network changes upgrades and expansions.
- Create and maintain network documentation including diagrams configuration files and procedures.
- Provide technical support and guidance to endusers and other IT staff as needed.
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend improvements and innovations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology Network Engineering or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience as a Network Engineer or similar role with a strong understanding of network infrastructure and protocols.
- Experience with network hardware including routers switches and firewalls.
- Experience with network monitoring and management tools (e.g. SolarWinds Nagios Wireshark).
- Knowledge of network protocols and services (e.g. TCP/IP DNS DHCP BGP OSPF).
- Experience in cloud networking concepts and technologies (e.g. AWS Azure).
- Strong troubleshooting and problemsolving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex network issues.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
- Federal Experience is a plus.
- Required Security clearance.
