Job Description
Job Title: Computer Network Architect(US Citizen Only)
Location: Remote
We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop network architectures that align with business objectives and technical requirements.
- Create comprehensive network plans including hardware and software components and ensure scalability and reliability.
- Evaluate and select appropriate technologies to improve network efficiency security and performance.
- Implement and manage network infrastructure including routers switches firewalls and other related hardware.
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot any issues to maintain optimal functionality.
- Collaborate with IT and cybersecurity teams to ensure network security and compliance with industry standards.
- Prepare documentation for network configurations changes and processes.
- Stay updated on the latest network technologies and trends to continuously improve the network architecture.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Computer Network Architect or similar role.
- Indepth knowledge of network hardware protocols and design principles.
- Proficiency in network security practices including firewalls VPNs and encryption.
- Experience with network monitoring tools and technologies.
- Strong problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Relevant certifications such as Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or equivalent are preferred.
- Federal Experience is a plus.
- Required Security clearance
