Job Description
Overview
A Kamailio (VOIP) Engineer plays a crucial role in designing implementing and maintaining voiceoverIP (VOIP) solutions. This position is essential for ensuring the seamless communication infrastructure within the organization utilizing Kamailio and related technologies to provide reliable voice services. The Kamailio (VOIP) Engineer will be responsible for optimizing and troubleshooting VOIP systems and providing technical support to ensure highquality voice services.

Key responsibilities
- Designing implementing and maintaining Kamailio (VOIP) solutions
- Optimizing performance and reliability of VOIP systems
- Monitoring and analyzing VOIP traffic to ensure quality of service
- Configuring and troubleshooting SIP protocol and related technologies
- Integrating and customizing VOIP systems according to business requirements
- Collaborating with crossfunctional teams to develop and implement voice communication solutions
- Conducting testing and quality assurance of VOIP systems
- Providing technical support and resolving VOIPrelated issues
- Documenting VOIP configurations processes and procedures
- Participating in VOIP system capacity planning and expansion
- Staying updated with VOIP industry trends and best practices
- Performing system maintenance and upgrades
- Preparing technical reports and recommendations for VOIP improvements
- Training and mentoring junior team members
Required qualifications
- Proven experience in designing implementing and supporting Kamailiobased VOIP solutions
- Strong understanding of SIP protocol and VOIP technologies
- Proficiency in Linux operating system and shell scripting
- Experience in configuring and troubleshooting networking protocols and technologies
- Knowledge of telecommunication principles and best practices
- Ability to perform VOIP system optimization and performance tuning
- Excellent problemsolving and troubleshooting skills
- Capability to work in a crossfunctional team environment
- Experience in conducting VOIP testing and quality assurance
- Good understanding of VOIP security and encryption techniques
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks effectively
- Certifications in VOIP technologies or related fields is a plus
